Decals
We take great pride in our level of quality and accuracy to give you decals that
match the original colours, graphics and text, as accurately as possible. Please
note; Graphics shown on each page ARE NOT in scale with each other - they are
only a representation of the graphic, made large enough to visualize.
All decals are made only with high quality 3M, Gerber or Avery automotive
vinyls. Unless the OEM decal was made from multi-layers (or unless specifed),
multi-coloured decals are NOT produced using multiple layers of vinly. The
colours are resin films that are thermally bonded to the vinyl. This process is
superior to other supplier's solvent based inkjet printed decals and provides a
visual look of a single layer decal, just like the orginal (usually) silk-screened
decals. The design of some of our decals even exceeds the durability of the OEM
products. We also use aluminum backings in some decals to closer match
originals, instead of chrome backings that other supplier's use to come "close".
Decals that have an aluminum backing must go through a unique process to be
able to print onto the aluminum. To save cost, we can also provide these types
of decals with a silver coloured backing for much less, but the match won't be
as close to the original as our standard decals would be.
These decals can also be clear coated over with PPG acrylic-urethane finishes
(PPG has been tested). Clear coating will greatly extend the life of the decals.
In cases where fuel spillage may occur (fuel tanks) clear coating is
recommended and was often an OEM process as well.

Note: We cannot produce decals if they are current or still available from your
OEM, so please check with your dealer first. It is most likely less expensive
buying from your dealer anyway. We are not able to afford the time to check to
see if the decals you want are still available from your OEM, so if you contact us
to create decals, then the act of you contacting us is our confirmation that you
have contacted your dealer and that no decals you want are available from your
OEM.
